Highway 1 Brewing Co. is a family owned craft brewery and restaurant situated between San Francisco and Santa Cruz on a quiet, almost remote stretch of iconic Highway 1. Catering to both surf loving locals and coastal travelers, this casual spot boasts iconic sunset views, local music and an outdoor beer garden.

The logo design was an update to a concept the owners had drawn up by a friend. This new version incorporates the classic highway sign shape over the existing hops illustration, bringing the idea together in one cohesive mark. In addition to the branding update, hand painted signs for each of their signature brews were made as well as indoor signage, a food menu, and a hand-painted giant highway billboard, making sure to catch any weary travelers eye.
